Resources for Communities

MLNNA has produced
two publications that are helpful for those interested in starting and sustaining
MLCs and other small Christian communities. These materials are based on members'
experiences in communities and are intended to be accessible and down-to-earth.
The first volume
is a practical guide to building communities called
(Just) Do Whatever He Tells You!
The second volume
is (Just) Do Whatever He Tells You .... Together!
-- a guide to collaboration among communities in the Marianist Family.
Copies of
both (Just) Do It! volumes are available for $10 through NACMS, our
partner in the Just Do It! project. Materials on Marianist history
and other materials for use by small Christian communities are also available
from the North American Center for Marianist Studies (NACMS). Of special interest
are Things Marianist, Soundings, and Marianist Journeys.

experience on various topics related to life in small Christian communities
in the Marianist Tradition. The product is this76-page document.

(Just) Do Whatever He Tells You (Together)!
This 50-page volume is a practical guide to doing joint projects on the local or regional level
involving the various branches of the Marianist Family. The topic was selected
because there is a strong need to define areas of common interest and action.
The document was produced at a working meeting held June 19-21,1998 in Cupertino,
California, where participants wrote about their experiences in existing activities and Family Councils.
Of special interest are how to get things started and how to avoid pitfalls.

approved
document on Mary, produced in 2005 at the International Convocation of MLCs
in Bordeaux, France. It reflects the beliefs of MLCs around the world about
